How to connect
1Open Connectors and choose Typefully
In StefanBrain, open Connectors, find Typefully, and click Connect.
2Get your API key
Copy the key from your Typefully account or developer settings. Use the account whose posts you want StefanBrain to work with.
3Enter your credentials in the dialog
Paste the API key into the connect dialog and confirm. Credentials are encrypted in transit and at rest.
4Ask for your first draft
Try turning your best-performing ad hook into a social post, or ask StefanBrain to draft a thread from a recent chat.
Good to know
- StefanBrain can only reach what your API key can reach. Access follows the Typefully account that issued the key.
- If you rotate or revoke the key in Typefully, the connection stops working. Reconnect in StefanBrain with the new key to restore access.

What does StefanBrain do with Typefully?
Typefully is a publishing connector: it covers drafting, scheduling, and publishing social posts. StefanBrain writes and refines the copy, then hands it to Typefully. Access stays limited to what your API key is allowed to reach.
Where do I find my Typefully API key?
It comes from your Typefully account or developer settings. Paste it into the connect dialog when StefanBrain asks, and it is stored encrypted from that point on.
Can StefanBrain publish without asking?
No. Drafting, scheduling, and publishing are write actions, and writes are classified separately from reads and gated by tool permissions you control. Nothing goes out without access you explicitly granted.
Does StefanBrain write the posts, or just move them?
Both. Chat, creative generation, and Copy Chief reviews produce and sharpen the copy inside StefanBrain. Typefully is the destination, so the words that arrive there already went through your process.
Can I disconnect later?
Yes, one click in Connectors removes the connection and its stored credential. For a full stop, also revoke the API key in Typefully so it cannot be used anywhere.
