1Open Connectors and choose Instagram
In StefanBrain, open Connectors, find Instagram, and click Connect.
2Sign in on Instagram's authorization page
A hosted Instagram authorization page opens. Sign in to the account you want connected; your password stays with Instagram.
3Approve access for StefanBrain
Review the requested access and approve it. What you approve here is exactly what StefanBrain can use.
4Ask a first question
Try asking how your last ten posts performed, or which recent post earned the most engagement.

Frequently asked questions
What can StefanBrain read from Instagram?
Profile insights and media insights for the connected account, so answers about performance come from real numbers. Access is limited to what you approve on Instagram's authorization page, and you can review that before confirming.
How does authentication work?
Instagram uses OAuth, so you sign in and approve access on Instagram's own hosted page. StefanBrain never sees or stores your Instagram password, and there are no API keys to find or paste.
Can StefanBrain publish to my account?
Yes, publishing posts is supported. Publishing is a write action, so tool permissions decide whether it runs freely, asks for approval first, or is blocked entirely. Nothing goes live without the access you granted.
How is this different from the Meta connector?
The Meta connector covers your ad accounts, including Facebook and Instagram ads. This connector covers the organic side: publishing posts and reading profile and media insights. Connect both and StefanBrain routes paid questions and organic questions to the right place.
Can I disconnect later?
Yes, one click in Connectors removes access. You can also remove StefanBrain's access from your Instagram account settings. Reconnecting later is the same short approval flow.
