How to connect
1Find your API credentials in Okendo
In the Okendo admin, open Settings, then Integrations. Click the edit icon, then Generate or Show to see your User ID and Merchant REST API key.
2Open Connectors and choose Okendo API
In StefanBrain, open Connectors, find Okendo API, and click Connect.
3Paste both and connect
Paste the User ID and the Merchant REST API key, then click Connect. StefanBrain checks them with Okendo before it saves anything.
4Ask your first question
Try asking which products have the lowest ratings this month, or what shoppers say most about your best seller.
Good to know
- Changes to reviews, loyalty points, translation settings, and webhooks ask for your approval first, unless you change that tool's permission.
- Looking up a customer or loyalty member also asks first, because those records hold names and emails.
- Review answers leave out reviewers' emails, full names, photos, orders, and reward codes. StefanBrain keeps the display name Okendo shows on your storefront.
- To ask about published reviews without an API key, connect Okendo MCP instead.

What can StefanBrain do with Okendo API?
Everything Okendo's Merchant REST API offers: reviews, replies, moderation, review groups, customers, loyalty, translation settings, and webhooks. It also reads published review totals, media, summaries, and questions.
Where do I find the User ID and API key?
In the Okendo admin under Settings, then Integrations. Click the edit icon, then Generate or Show. Copy both values into the Okendo API dialog in StefanBrain.
Will StefanBrain change my reviews without asking?
Not by default. Approving, rejecting, and replying to reviews are writes, and each write waits for your approval. You can change any tool's permission in Connectors.
Do my Okendo reviews show up on my StefanBrain products?
Yes. After you connect, StefanBrain copies your published reviews onto the products that share their Shopify product. Later syncs remove a copy you reject or unpublish in Okendo.
How is this different from Okendo MCP?
Okendo MCP answers questions about published reviews and Q&A without an API key. Okendo API adds moderation, replies, customers, loyalty, and the review sync.
How do I disconnect?
One click in Connectors removes the key from StefanBrain. To cut access fully, generate a new Merchant REST API key in Okendo as well.
