How to connect
1Open Connectors and choose Google Drive
In StefanBrain, open Connectors, find Google Drive, and click Connect.
2Sign in with your Google account
Google's own authorization page opens. Pick the account that can open the files you want StefanBrain to use.
3Approve access for StefanBrain
Review what Google shows and approve. StefanBrain never sees your Google password; Google issues it a revocable token instead.
4Ask your first question
Paste a Google Doc link and ask for a summary, or ask StefanBrain to find a file for you.
Good to know
- StefanBrain sees only what the connected Google account can open. Files shared with a different account stay invisible until you connect that account too.
- If your working files live in a company Google Workspace account, connect that account rather than a personal Gmail.

What can StefanBrain read from Google Drive?
Files and folders the connected Google account can access, including Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides. Ask for a file by name, paste a link, or have StefanBrain search Drive for the right document.
Does StefanBrain store my Google password?
No. You sign in on Google's own authorization page, and Google issues StefanBrain a token you can revoke at any time. Credentials are encrypted in transit and at rest.
Can StefanBrain change or delete my files?
Write actions are classified separately from reads and gated by tool permissions you control, so nothing changes in your Drive without access you granted. If you want a read-only setup, block write actions in the connector's tool permissions.
Can I just paste a Google Doc link into chat?
Yes, that is the fastest way to use this connector. Paste the link, ask for a read, review, summary, or analysis, and StefanBrain pulls the document content itself.
What if I connected the wrong Google account?
Disconnect in Connectors and connect again with the right account. StefanBrain only ever sees what the currently connected account can open, so switching accounts switches what it can read.
How do I disconnect later?
One click in Connectors removes StefanBrain's access. You can also revoke StefanBrain from your Google account settings, which cuts off the token on Google's side too.
