In StefanBrain, open Connectors, find Stripe, and click Connect.
2Approve access on Stripe's authorization page
A Stripe authorization page opens in your browser. Sign in and approve access for StefanBrain.
3Review your tool permissions
Stripe is a financial connector, so check the connector's tool permissions. You decide whether write actions need approval or stay blocked.
4Ask your first question
Try asking for this month's new subscriptions, or which customers received refunds last week. The answer comes straight from your Stripe account.

How does authentication work?
Stripe uses OAuth. You sign in and approve access on Stripe's own authorization page, and StefanBrain never sees your Stripe password. There are no API keys to find or paste.

The connector covers managing customers, invoices, subscriptions, refunds, and payments. Write actions are classified separately from reads, and tool permissions let you require approval or block writes entirely.
Is it safe to connect a payments account?
StefanBrain treats Stripe as a financial connector, so writes are held to the permissions you set. You stay in control of what it may touch, and you can keep the connection read only.
How is this different from my Shopify order data?

Can I disconnect later?
Yes, one click in Connectors removes access. You can also revoke StefanBrain's authorization from your Stripe account at any time. Either side of the connection can end it.
