How to connect
1Copy your API key
Log in to AdPlexity Social, open the API & MCP page in the sidebar, and copy your key. AdPlexity makes the key for you.
2Open Connectors and choose AdPlexity
In StefanBrain, open Connectors, find AdPlexity, and click Connect.
3Paste the key
Paste the key into the API key field and click Connect. StefanBrain checks it with a free dictionary read and your board list, which returns no ads.
4Ask your first question
Try asking for the longest-running ads in your vertical this month, or for the full funnel behind one landing page.
Good to know
- Every AdPlexity tool only reads. StefanBrain cannot change your boards, favourites, or settings in AdPlexity.
- Board and folder exports ask you first, because each one spends 1 credit for every ad it holds.
- AdPlexity charges API credits: 1 credit for each ad or landing page a tool returns. The dictionary lookups are free.
- Each AdPlexity plan includes 5,000 credits a month, shared by the API and the MCP. Unused credits do not roll over.
- AdPlexity returns 100 results when a search sets no count, so StefanBrain sends 20 instead, unless you ask for more.
- This card reaches AdPlexity Social, which covers Meta ads. AdPlexity sells Native, Push, Mobile, and Desktop as separate products.
- AdPlexity's MCP cannot filter by language yet, so StefanBrain filters by country instead.

Frequently asked questions
Where do I find my AdPlexity API key?
On the API & MCP page in AdPlexity's sidebar. AdPlexity makes the key for you. If you need a new one, AdPlexity support rotates it.
Does connecting or asking a question cost credits?
AdPlexity charges 1 credit for each ad or landing page returned, so searches, lookups, and board exports spend credits. Connecting reads a free dictionary and your board list, and neither returns ads.
Which AdPlexity plans work?
Any AdPlexity Social plan. AdPlexity includes the API and the MCP in every plan at no extra charge. Social costs $99 a month, or $79 a month billed yearly.
What happens when my credits run out?
AdPlexity refuses further searches until your credits refresh with the next billing month. StefanBrain tells you so and answers from what it already found.
Can I search more than 30 days at once?
No. AdPlexity limits each search to a window of 30 days, so a longer period takes several searches, and each one spends credits.
What happens if my AdPlexity Social subscription lapses?
AdPlexity refuses every tool, and StefanBrain tells you the subscription is not active. Connecting fails the same way. Renew AdPlexity Social, then ask again.
