Direct Mail integration
Connect StefanBrain to PostGrid
Connect PostGrid to bring direct mail into StefanBrain. Work on letters, postcards, and address checks in the same chats that already handle your ads and copy.
What connecting PostGrid unlocks
Direct mail in the same brain as your ads
Your letters, postcards, and address checks live in the workspace where you already plan campaigns. Ask about your mail program in plain English instead of switching tabs.
Mail copy with a Copy Chief pass
Draft postcard and letter copy in chat, then run it through a Copy Chief review before anything goes to print. Printed mistakes are expensive; reviewed drafts are not.
Creative concepts for the mailbox
Generate image concepts for postcards with the same creative engine behind your ad images. Keep your offline pieces on brand with your online ones.
Address checks before you pay postage
PostGrid automates address checks, so you can catch bad addresses before they waste print and postage. Cleaner lists mean fewer returned pieces.
How to connect
1Open Connectors and choose PostGrid
In StefanBrain, open Connectors, find PostGrid, and click Connect. A credential dialog opens.
2Get your API key from PostGrid
Copy the key from your PostGrid account or developer settings. Keep it handy; you will paste it in the next step.
3Enter your API credentials in the dialog
Paste the key into the connect dialog and save. StefanBrain stores it encrypted and uses it only for your PostGrid connection.
4Ask a first question
Try asking StefanBrain to draft your next postcard, or to review the letter copy you have in flight.
Good to know
- PostGrid connects with an API key rather than a sign-in button, so access lasts until you disconnect or rotate the key.
- Anything that would create or send physical mail is a write action. Tool permissions decide whether writes run at all and whether they need your approval first.
Your credentials stay yours
- We never store your passwords
- Encrypted at rest and in transit
- Disconnect anytime
Frequently asked questions
What can StefanBrain do with PostGrid?
PostGrid covers letters, postcards, and address checks. Once connected, you can bring that direct mail work into chat, pair it with creative generation and Copy Chief reviews, and keep offline campaigns next to your online ones.
Where do I find my PostGrid API key?
In your PostGrid account or developer settings. You sign in to PostGrid yourself; StefanBrain only stores the key you paste into the connect dialog.
Can StefanBrain send mail without asking?
No. Write actions are classified separately from reads, and tool permissions let you require approval or block writes entirely. Nothing prints or mails outside the access you grant.
How is this different from Stannp or Cardly?
All three are direct mail connectors. PostGrid automates letters, postcards, and address checks, Stannp sends direct mail campaigns by post, and Cardly sends handwritten-style cards. Connect the one your team actually runs.
Can I disconnect later?
Yes, one click in Connectors removes access. You can also rotate or revoke the API key in PostGrid, which cuts off access on its own.
Is my API key safe?
Credentials are encrypted in transit and at rest, and the key is used only to talk to PostGrid on your behalf. Disconnecting removes it, and rotating the key in PostGrid invalidates the old one everywhere.
