What connecting Cardly unlocks

Handwritten-style cards in your marketing workflow

Cardly sends handwritten-style cards to customers. Connected, it becomes one more channel your marketing brain can plan and work with in conversation.

Card copy written like a marketer

Draft thank-you notes, win-back messages, and VIP cards in chat. Run them through a Copy Chief review before anything heads to a mailbox.

Direct mail beside your digital channels

Cardly joins your other connectors in chat, so offline touches get planned with the same context as your ads and creative. No extra dashboard tab required.

Sends stay under your control

Sending a card is a write action. Tool permissions let you require approval for every send, or block writes entirely and keep the connection read only.

How to connect

1Open Connectors and choose Cardly

In StefanBrain, open Connectors, find Cardly, and click Connect.

2Get your Cardly API key

Copy the key from your Cardly account or developer settings. That key is the only credential StefanBrain needs.

3Enter your API credentials in the dialog

Paste the key into the connection dialog and save. StefanBrain never sees or stores your Cardly password.

4Ask a first question

Try asking what StefanBrain can do with Cardly, or draft a thank-you card message for your best customers.

Good to know

  • Credentials are encrypted in transit and at rest. Disconnecting in StefanBrain removes access, and you can also revoke or rotate the key in your Cardly account.
  • Cardly has no fixed tool list inside StefanBrain. The available actions load from the live integration when you connect, so ask in chat to see what your account supports.

Frequently asked questions

What can StefanBrain read from Cardly?

Cardly is a direct mail service built around sending handwritten-style cards to customers, so the connection centers on card and sending workflows. The exact actions come from the live Cardly integration once you connect. Ask in chat and StefanBrain uses whatever your account exposes.

Where do I find my Cardly API key?

It lives in your Cardly account or developer settings. StefanBrain asks for it once in the connection dialog and stores it encrypted. Your Cardly password is never requested or stored.

Can StefanBrain send a card without asking me?

Not unless you allow it. Sending is a write action, and tool permissions let you require approval for each send or block writes completely. Read actions are gated separately from writes.

Can StefanBrain write the card message itself?

Yes, drafting copy is what the platform does best. Ask for a thank-you note or a win-back card in chat, and run the draft through Copy Chief before you send anything.

How is Cardly different from Lob, Stannp, or PostGrid?

All four are direct mail connectors. Cardly focuses on handwritten-style cards, Lob and PostGrid handle programmatic letters, postcards, and address checks, and Stannp runs postal campaigns. Connect the service your team actually uses.

Can I disconnect later?

Yes, one click in Connectors removes access immediately. For a full cleanup, also revoke or rotate the API key inside your Cardly account so the old key stops working everywhere.
