How to connect

1Generate a Loop API token

In Loop, open Settings > API tokens and webhooks, click Generate New Token, and select every scope. API tokens need Loop's PRO plan.

2Open Connectors and choose Loop Subscriptions

In StefanBrain, open Connectors, find Loop Subscriptions, and click Connect.

3Paste your API token

The dialog asks for one field, the API token. Paste it and click Connect. StefanBrain checks the token with Loop before saving it.

4Ask your first question

Try asking how many subscriptions are paused, or to find a customer's subscriptions by email.

Good to know

API tokens are a Loop PRO plan feature. A token reaches only the scopes picked when it was made, so select every scope for full access.
Tools ending in "as Customer" act as one customer through Loop's customer portal API, using that customer's Shopify customer ID.
Cancelling a subscription starts switched off. Turn it on in Manage connector if you want StefanBrain to offer it.
For churn, cohort, and payment recovery analytics, also connect Loop Analytics.

What can StefanBrain do in Loop Subscriptions?

Where do I get my Loop API token?

In Loop, open Settings > API tokens and webhooks and click Generate New Token. Name it, select every scope, and paste it into the connect dialog.

Will StefanBrain change subscriptions without asking?

No. Every change asks for your approval first, and cancelling starts switched off. Reads that show customer details, like emails and addresses, also ask first.

How is this different from Loop Analytics?

This connector reads and changes records with an API token. Loop Analytics signs in with your Loop login and answers churn, cohort, and payment questions.

Is this the Loop Returns app?

No. Loop Subscriptions and Loop Returns are different Shopify apps from different companies. For returns, connect Loop Returns.

Can I disconnect later?

Yes, one click in Connectors removes access. To be thorough, also remove the token in Loop > Settings > API tokens and webhooks.
