Project integration
Connect StefanBrain to Linear
Connect Linear and StefanBrain works from the issues, projects, and cycles your team already tracks. Ask in plain English and get answers from your live Linear workspace.
What connecting Linear unlocks
Launch status in every chat
Ask what is blocking the next launch or which issues closed this cycle. Answers come from live Linear data, not a screenshot from Monday's standup.
Project context for the creative work
The projects your team tracks in Linear become context for creative generation, Copy Chief reviews, and CRO analysis. No pasting summaries between tabs.
Cycle progress without the dashboard
Check how the current cycle is tracking from the same conversation where you plan the campaign around it. Timing decisions stay grounded in real progress.
Issues created from conversation
When a chat surfaces action items, StefanBrain can create and track issues for you. Every write action is gated by tool permissions you control.
How to connect
1Open Connectors and choose Linear
In StefanBrain, open Connectors, find Linear, and click Connect.
2Sign in to Linear
Linear opens its hosted authorization page. Sign in with the account your team uses for project work.
3Approve access for StefanBrain
Review the requested access on Linear's page and approve it. StefanBrain never sees your password, only the token Linear issues.
4Ask your first question
Try asking which issues shipped this cycle, or what is still open on the project behind your next campaign.
Good to know
- Access mirrors the Linear account you connect with. StefanBrain sees only the issues, projects, and cycles that account can see.
- There are no API keys to find or paste. If access is ever revoked on the Linear side, reconnecting takes one click in Connectors.
Your credentials stay yours
- We never store your passwords
- Encrypted at rest and in transit
- Disconnect anytime
Frequently asked questions
What can StefanBrain read from Linear?
The connector covers the issues, projects, and cycles in your Linear workspace. That means issue details and status, the projects that group them, and how each cycle is progressing. Anything the connected account can see is fair game for a question.
How does authentication work?
Linear uses OAuth, so you sign in and approve access on Linear's own authorization page. StefanBrain stores the resulting token encrypted and never sees your password. There are no API keys to copy.
Can StefanBrain create or change issues?
Creating and tracking issues is what this connector covers, so changes are possible. Every write action is classified separately from reads and gated by tool permissions. You can require approval for each change or block writes entirely.
Which Linear account should I connect?
Use an account that can see the teams and projects you want StefanBrain to help with. Access mirrors that account exactly, so a limited account produces limited answers.
How do I disconnect?
One click in Connectors removes access on the StefanBrain side. You can also revoke StefanBrain's access from within Linear. Reconnecting later is the same short OAuth flow.
How is this different from Jira, ClickUp, or Trello?
They are all project connectors, so connect the tool your team actually runs. If your work is split across tools, you can connect more than one and name the tool when you ask.
