How to connect
1Open Connectors and choose Airtable
In StefanBrain, open Connectors, find Airtable, and click Connect.
2Sign in on Airtable's authorization page
Airtable's own sign-in page opens, so there is no API key or personal access token to create. Sign in with the Airtable account your team uses.
3Pick the bases StefanBrain can use
Choose specific bases, whole workspaces, or every base you can open. Grant access and you land back in StefanBrain with the connection live.
4Ask your first question
Try asking what tables a base holds, or which records in a table match a status you care about.
Good to know
- StefanBrain only sees the bases you grant on the authorization page. Bases you leave out stay closed to it.
- Access mirrors the Airtable account you sign in with. Connect the account that can open your team's bases.

Frequently asked questions
What can StefanBrain read in Airtable?
The bases you grant during sign-in, including their tables, fields, records, and record comments. Answers come from your live data each time you ask.
Do I need an Airtable API key or personal access token?
No. Airtable connects through OAuth, so you sign in on Airtable's own page and approve access there. StefanBrain never sees or stores your Airtable password.
Can StefanBrain change my records without asking?
Not by default. Creating, updating, and deleting records are write actions, and each one asks for approval first. Tool permissions let you allow them, keep asking, or block them entirely.
How do I add or remove bases later?
In Airtable, open your avatar menu, then Integrations, then Third-party integrations. From there you can add a base, change access, or revoke it.
How do I disconnect Airtable?
One click in Connectors removes the connection. Revoking access under Third-party integrations in Airtable cuts it off on Airtable's side as well.
How is this different from the Google Sheets connector?
Google Sheets works with spreadsheets and ranges, while Airtable works with bases, tables, and records. Connect the ones your team uses, and name the tool when you ask if you connect both.
