Project integration
Connect StefanBrain to Coda
Connect Coda so StefanBrain can read and update the docs and tables your team already works in. Ask questions in chat and get answers grounded in your real Coda content.
What connecting Coda unlocks
Doc and table answers in chat
Ask about anything living in your Coda docs and tables and get the answer in the conversation. No hunting through docs, no copy and paste.
Briefs and copy grounded in your docs
Creative work, Copy Chief reviews, and CRO conversations can draw on the plans, research, and positioning your team keeps in Coda.
Updates without leaving chat
The connector can update docs and tables, not just read them. Every write action is gated by tool permissions you control.
Project context behind every decision
Coda often holds launch plans, trackers, and team knowledge. Connecting it puts that context behind creative and media buying discussions too.
How to connect
1Open Connectors and choose Coda
In StefanBrain, open Connectors, find Coda, and click Connect.
2Get your Coda API key
Clicking Connect opens a secure credential page in the same tab. In another tab, grab an API key from your Coda account or developer settings. Treat it like a password, because it carries your Coda access.
3Enter the key on the hosted page
Paste the API key on the hosted credential page and submit. You return to StefanBrain with the connection live. StefanBrain never stores the key itself.
4Ask your first question
Try asking for a summary of a planning doc, or which rows in a tracker table changed status.
Good to know
- Coda connects with an API key, not a vendor sign-in, so there is no Coda approval page. Clicking Connect opens a secure hosted credential page in the same tab, then returns you to StefanBrain.
- If you revoke or replace the key in your Coda account, the connection stops working. Reconnect with the new key to restore access.
Your credentials stay yours
- We never store your passwords
- Encrypted at rest and in transit
- Disconnect anytime
Frequently asked questions
What can StefanBrain read from Coda?
The connector reads your Coda docs and tables. That covers the written content of docs plus the structured rows your team keeps in tables. Ask in plain English and StefanBrain pulls what it needs.
Where do I find my Coda API key?
Coda issues API keys from your account or developer settings. Copy one there, then paste it on the secure credential page that opens after you click Connect. The page stores the key outside StefanBrain, so StefanBrain never stores or sees your key or your Coda password.
Can StefanBrain change my Coda docs?
Yes, the connector supports updating docs and tables as well as reading them. Write actions are classified separately from reads, and tool permissions let you require approval or block writes entirely. Nothing changes without the access you granted.
My team runs projects in Coda. What should I ask first?
Start with a summary of a launch plan, or a pull from a tracker table. Then bring that context into a creative brief, a Copy Chief review, or a CRO discussion.
How do I disconnect Coda later?
One click in Connectors removes the connection and StefanBrain's access. You can also revoke or regenerate the API key in your Coda account, which cuts off access immediately.
