How to connect
1Open Connectors and choose Fireflies.ai
In StefanBrain, open Connectors, find Fireflies.ai, and click Connect.
2Get your Fireflies.ai API key
Copy the API key from your Fireflies.ai account or developer settings. It identifies your account, so treat it like a password.
3Enter your API key on the secure connection page
Clicking Connect opens a secure connection page. Paste the key there and save. The managed connector platform stores the credential, and StefanBrain itself never stores your key.
4Ask your first question
Try asking for a summary of your latest call, or search your transcripts for every mention of a competitor.
Good to know
- Fireflies.ai connects with an API key instead of a sign-in button, so access follows the account that issued the key.
- If you rotate or regenerate the key in Fireflies.ai, reconnect in StefanBrain with the new key so requests keep working.

How does authentication work?
Fireflies.ai uses an API key, which you copy from your Fireflies.ai account or developer settings. When you click Connect, a secure connection page opens, and you enter the key there. The managed connector platform stores the credential, and StefanBrain never sees your Fireflies.ai password.
Can StefanBrain change or delete my meetings?
This connector is built for reading: searching transcripts and summaries. Across StefanBrain, any write action on any connector is gated by tool permissions you control, so nothing changes without access you granted.
How do I disconnect?
One click in Connectors removes the connected account and ends StefanBrain's access. For a full stop, also revoke or regenerate the key in your Fireflies.ai account so the old key is dead everywhere.
How is this different from the Fathom Notetaker connector?
Both are meeting connectors. Fireflies.ai is about searching meeting transcripts and summaries, while Fathom Notetaker pulls meeting summaries and action items. Connect the notetaker your team actually records with.
