How to connect
1Open Connectors and choose Yotpo
In StefanBrain, open Connectors, find Yotpo, and click Connect. A credential dialog opens.
2Find your Yotpo store ID and API secret
Yotpo's Introduction to API guide shows where both live. You need a Yotpo admin account to view or generate the API secret.
3Paste both values in the dialog
Enter your store ID, which Yotpo also calls the app key, plus your API secret, then click Connect.
4Ask a first question
Try asking for your best-reviewed product this quarter, or the most common complaint in recent one-star reviews.
Good to know
- Your store ID and your Yotpo app key are the same value, so either label works when you copy it from Yotpo.
- Only Yotpo admin accounts can view or generate the API secret. Ask an admin if you cannot see it.
- Storefront review tools use the product ID from your own site, not Yotpo's internal product ID. Search Yotpo Products can resolve one from the other.

Frequently asked questions
What can StefanBrain read from Yotpo?
Reviews from both the merchant and storefront review APIs, product review summaries with average scores, products, customers, and the metadata attached to individual reviews. That covers reporting, moderation context, and the raw customer language your creative work needs.
Where do I find my store ID and API secret?
Both live in your Yotpo account, and Yotpo's Introduction to API guide walks through finding them. You need a Yotpo admin account to view or generate the API secret.
Can StefanBrain change my Yotpo data?
The only write tool is Update Yotpo Review Metadata, which adds or updates metadata on an existing review. Like every write action in StefanBrain, it is gated by tool permissions, so you can require approval or block it entirely.
Why does a product review lookup come back empty?
Storefront review tools expect the product ID from your own site, not Yotpo's internal product ID. Ask StefanBrain to resolve the right ID with Search Yotpo Products first, then retry the lookup.
Can I disconnect later?
Yes, one click in Connectors removes access and the stored credentials. For a full rotation, generate a new API secret from your Yotpo admin account.
