What connecting Triple Whale unlocks

Performance answers without the dashboard

Ask how the store performed over any window and get answers from Triple Whale's data. No tab switching, no exports.

Attribution and summary metrics on tap

The API key you connect carries Summary Page and Pixel Attribution read access. Questions about blended performance and attribution come back with real numbers behind them.

Creative grounded in what performs

Feed Triple Whale answers into creative briefs and Copy Chief reviews. New ads and pages build on your actual performance data instead of guesses.

Media-buying calls backed by data

Scale, cut, and budget discussions in chat can cite Triple Whale performance numbers pulled moments earlier.

Tools your chats can call

A sample of the Triple Whale tools StefanBrain can use once connected. Reads and writes are classified separately, and you control both.

Run natural-language analytics queries against Triple Whale performance data.

How to connect

1Generate a Triple Whale API key

In your Triple Whale account, create an API key with Summary Page: Read and Pixel Attribution: Read. The connect dialog links Triple Whale's Moby MCP guide with the details.

2Open Connectors and choose Triple Whale

In StefanBrain, open Connectors, find Triple Whale, and click Connect.

3Paste your API key and Shopify shop domain

Enter the key in the API key field, then your Shopify shop domain, like example.myshopify.com. Moby requires this shop domain for API-key authenticated questions.

4Ask your first question

Try asking how the store performed last week, or where yesterday's orders were attributed.

Good to know

  • The key needs Summary Page: Read and Pixel Attribution: Read. A key without those scopes connects but cannot answer the questions you will actually ask.
  • Triple Whale's official MCP currently centers on the Moby analytics surface, so questions run through Moby rather than a long list of separate tools.
  • The Shopify shop domain is not optional. Moby uses it to resolve which store your API-key authenticated questions are about.

Your credentials stay yours

  • We never store your passwords
  • Encrypted at rest and in transit
  • Disconnect anytime

Frequently asked questions

What can StefanBrain read from Triple Whale?

StefanBrain asks Moby natural-language analytics questions against your Triple Whale performance data. The scopes on your API key set the boundaries, and the recommended setup grants Summary Page and Pixel Attribution reads.

Where do I get the API key?

You generate it in your Triple Whale account. The connect dialog links Triple Whale's Moby MCP guide, which walks through creating a key with the two read scopes StefanBrain needs.

Can StefanBrain change anything in Triple Whale?

No. The Moby tool this connector ships is classified as read-only, so it answers questions rather than editing your account. Across StefanBrain, any write action on any connector is gated by tool permissions you control.

Why does it ask for my Shopify shop domain?

Moby requires the shop domain for API-key authenticated questions. It tells Triple Whale which store your questions refer to, so enter it in the example.myshopify.com format shown in the dialog.

What is Moby?

Moby is Triple Whale's analytics surface, and it is the center of Triple Whale's official MCP today. Instead of one tool per report, you ask questions in plain language and Moby runs the analysis.

Can I disconnect later?

Yes, one click in Connectors removes the connection. For a full revoke, also delete or rotate the API key inside Triple Whale so the credential itself stops working.
