How to connect
1Open Connectors and choose Heatmap
In StefanBrain, open Connectors, find Heatmap, and click Connect.
2Sign in with your Heatmap account
A Heatmap authorization page opens. The connector uses your Heatmap account login, so sign in and approve access for StefanBrain.
3Pick the site to analyze
If your account tracks several sites, ask StefanBrain to list them and set the one you want active. Later questions run against that site.
4Ask your first question
Try asking which page elements drive the most revenue, or where your checkout funnel loses people.
Good to know
- Heatmap MCP is read-only. StefanBrain can analyze your data but cannot change sites, tests, or settings in Heatmap.
- Access covers the sites your Heatmap login is authorized for. Ask StefanBrain to check viewer access if a site or feature seems missing.

Frequently asked questions
What can StefanBrain read from Heatmap?
Authorized sites, revenue, sessions, conversions, heatmaps, funnels, custom events, recordings, and experiments. That includes scroll depth, page engagement, user journeys, and A/B test results with revenue per visitor.
How does authentication work?
Heatmap connects through your Heatmap account login on a hosted authorization page. There is no API key to find or paste, and StefanBrain never sees your password.
Can StefanBrain change anything in my Heatmap account?
No. The Heatmap connector is read-only, so every tool reads data and nothing writes back. Across StefanBrain, write actions are gated by tool permissions, and Heatmap simply does not expose any.
I track multiple sites. Which one does StefanBrain use?
Ask it to list your sites and set the one you want active. Read questions then run against that site until you switch to another.
How is this different from Microsoft Clarity?
Both cover behavior analytics, but StefanBrain routes questions by the platform you name. Heatmap questions go to Heatmap, and Clarity data is only used when you explicitly ask for Clarity.
Can I disconnect later?
Yes, one click in Connectors removes access. StefanBrain stops reading your Heatmap data immediately, and nothing in your Heatmap account changes because the connector never writes.
