How to connect
1Open Connectors and choose KnoCommerce
In StefanBrain, open Connectors, find KnoCommerce, and click Connect. You need a KnoCommerce Analyst plan or above.
2Create an API key in KnoCommerce
In KnoCommerce, go to Settings, then Integrations, then API Access, and create an API key. Set the app URL to mcp.knocommerce.com.
3Enter the Client ID and Secret
KnoCommerce asks for credentials during authorization. Enter the Client ID and Secret from the API key you just created, then approve access.
4Ask your first question
Try asking where last month's customers said they heard about you, or how post-purchase responses trended after your latest launch.
Good to know
- API access requires a KnoCommerce Analyst plan or above. Lower plans do not expose the API Access page, so the connection cannot complete.
- The API key's app URL must be mcp.knocommerce.com. A key created with a different app URL will not authorize.

What can StefanBrain read from KnoCommerce?
Post-purchase survey results, survey-based attribution such as how-did-you-hear-about-us analysis, and response trends and customer insights. Those answers then feed chat questions, creative briefs, and media-buying decisions.
Which KnoCommerce plan do I need?
An Analyst plan or above. That is the tier where KnoCommerce exposes API Access under Settings, then Integrations, which the connection depends on.
Where do the credentials come from?
You create them yourself in KnoCommerce under Settings, then Integrations, then API Access, with app URL mcp.knocommerce.com. KnoCommerce asks for the Client ID and Secret during authorization, and StefanBrain never sees your KnoCommerce password.
Can StefanBrain change my surveys?
The connector is built for reading and analyzing survey data, not for editing surveys. Platform-wide, any write action is gated by tool permissions, so nothing changes without access you granted.
How is this different from Zigpoll?
Both are survey connectors. KnoCommerce covers KnoCommerce post-purchase surveys and attribution; Zigpoll questions route to the Zigpoll connector. Connect the one your store runs, or both.
Can I disconnect later?
Yes, one click in Connectors removes access. For a full revoke, also delete the API key in KnoCommerce under Settings, then Integrations, then API Access.
