How to connect

1Copy your API key from HYROS

Get an API key from your HYROS account. Use a key from the client account itself, since agency-level keys can't read account data.

2Check the key's data roles

Make sure the key's data roles are enabled in HYROS. A key without data roles connects but returns nothing useful.

3Open Connectors and choose HYROS

In StefanBrain, open Connectors, find HYROS, and click Connect. Paste your key into the API key field and click Connect.

4Ask your first question

Try asking which ad accounts drove the most tracked revenue this month, or for the journey behind your latest big sale.

Good to know

Agency-level API keys can't read account data. Always use a key issued from the client account itself.
The key's data roles must be enabled in HYROS, or reads come back empty even though the key is valid.

What can StefanBrain read from HYROS?

Leads, lead journeys with sales attribution, sales, calls, subscriptions, and clicks, plus ad and ad account attribution reports. It can also list your tags, sources, ads, lead stages, and verified domains.

Where do I find my HYROS API key?

In your HYROS account, following the steps in the HYROS API docs that the connect dialog links to. Use a key from the client account itself, with its data roles enabled.

Can StefanBrain write data into HYROS?

Yes. Tools exist to create or update leads, orders, calls, subscriptions, products, sources, and clicks. Write actions are classified separately from reads, and tool permissions let you require approval or block them entirely.

My key connects but reads return nothing. Why?

The two usual causes are an agency-level key or disabled data roles. Agency-level keys can't read account data, so issue the key from the client account and enable its data roles in HYROS.

I run an agency. How do I connect client accounts?

Connect each client account with a key issued from that account itself. One agency-level key won't work, because it can't read account data.

Can I disconnect later?

Yes, one click in Connectors removes access. For a clean break, also revoke or rotate the API key inside HYROS.
