In StefanBrain, open Connectors, find YouTube, and click Connect.
2Sign in on Google's authorization page
A hosted Google authorization page opens. Sign in with the Google account that manages the channel you want connected.
3Approve access for StefanBrain
Review the requested access and approve it. StefanBrain never sees your password; Google issues access you can revoke at any time.

What can StefanBrain read from YouTube?
The connector covers your videos, playlists, and channel analytics. That means StefanBrain can answer questions about your library and your channel's performance from the source, inside any chat.
How does authentication work? Do I need an API key?
No API key. YouTube connects through standard OAuth: you sign in on Google's hosted page and approve access. StefanBrain never sees or stores your password, only the access Google grants.
Can StefanBrain change my channel without asking?
No. The connector's scope covers managing videos and playlists, but write actions are classified separately from reads. Tool permissions let you require approval for writes or block them entirely.
Which YouTube channel gets connected?
The channel tied to the Google account you authorize, so sign in with the account that manages the channel you care about. To switch channels, disconnect and reconnect with a different account.
Is this the same as connecting Google Ads or Google Analytics?
No. YouTube is its own connector focused on your channel, videos, and playlists. Google Ads, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console are separate connectors, each with its own authorization, and you can connect any combination.
Can I disconnect later?
Yes, one click in Connectors removes access. You can also revoke StefanBrain's access from your Google account settings, which cuts the connection off from the vendor side.
