How to connect
1Open Connectors and choose X / Twitter
In StefanBrain, open Connectors, find X / Twitter, and click Connect.
2Check you are signed in to the right handle
The authorization request goes to whichever X account is signed in to your browser. If you run several handles, switch to the right one on X first.
3Approve on X's authorization page
A hosted X authorization page opens. Review the requested access and approve it for StefanBrain.
4Ask your first question
Try asking what you posted recently, or which of your posts is worth turning into an ad.
Good to know
- Authorization happens on X's hosted page. StefanBrain receives a revocable token and never sees your X password.
- There are no API keys to create or copy. If the connection ever breaks, disconnect and reconnect from the Connectors page.

What can StefanBrain read from X?
The connector is scoped to posting and analyzing content on X, so your published posts are the sweet spot. Ask about your content in chat and the answers come from your account, not from exports.
How does authentication work, and where do my credentials live?
X uses OAuth, so you approve access on X's own hosted authorization page. StefanBrain stores a revocable token, encrypted in transit and at rest, and never sees or stores your X password.
Can StefanBrain post to X without asking me?
No. Posting is supported, but write actions are classified separately from reads. Tool permissions let you require approval on every post or block writes entirely.
Which X account gets connected?
Whichever account approves the authorization request. If you manage a personal handle and a brand handle, sign in to the brand account on X before you click Connect.
Does this manage my X ad campaigns?
The connector centers on content: posting and analyzing what is on your X account. Treat it as the voice and creative side of your X presence, the side that feeds better ads, rather than a campaign dashboard.
Can I disconnect later?
Yes, one click in Connectors removes access. You can also revoke StefanBrain from your X account settings, which invalidates the connection from X's side as well.
