How to connect
1Open Connectors and choose SendGrid
In StefanBrain, open Connectors, find SendGrid, and click Connect.
2Get your SendGrid API key
SendGrid authenticates with an API key. Copy one from your SendGrid account or developer settings.
3Enter your credentials in the dialog
Paste the API key into the connection dialog and save. StefanBrain encrypts credentials in transit and at rest.
4Ask a first question

What can StefanBrain read from SendGrid?
The connection is scoped by the API key you provide, so StefanBrain gets what your key allows and nothing more. SendGrid sends email at scale and tracks delivery, so questions about your sending and how it delivered are what this connection is for.
Where do I find my SendGrid API key?
Copy it from your SendGrid account or developer settings, then paste it into the connection dialog in StefanBrain. The connection only ever has the access the key grants. If you rotate the key later, reconnect with the new one.
Can StefanBrain send email through SendGrid?
Sending is what SendGrid does, and inside StefanBrain sending is a write action. Write actions are gated by tool permissions, so you can require approval or block them outright. Nothing reaches an inbox without the access you granted.
How do I disconnect?
One click in Connectors removes the connection and StefanBrain's access with it. For a full stop, delete or rotate the key in your SendGrid account as well, so the credential no longer works anywhere.
How is SendGrid different from Postmark in StefanBrain?
Both are email delivery connectors. SendGrid is built for sending at scale with delivery tracking, while Postmark focuses on transactional email with detailed message logs. Connect the one your stack sends through, or both if you split traffic.
