How to connect

1Create a Marketing Cloud API key

In Maropost, open Settings, then API Keys, and create a key. Grant it the least privileges needed for lists, contacts, campaigns, and reports.

2Have your account ID ready

StefanBrain uses your Marketing Cloud account ID to select Maropost's documented regional API host, so requests reach the right server.

3Paste both into StefanBrain

Open Connectors, choose Maropost, and click Connect. Enter the API key and account ID in the dialog. An account name label is optional.

4Ask a first question

Try asking for your latest campaign reports, or how many contacts your main list holds.

Good to know

Maropost API keys can be limited by privilege and by IP whitelist. A key scoped to lists, contacts, campaigns, and reports is all StefanBrain needs.
Leave the API base URL field blank for automatic production region selection. Use it only when Maropost gives you a sandbox or regional override.

Frequently asked questions

What can StefanBrain read from Maropost?

Marketing Cloud lists, contacts, campaigns, and campaign reports, including opens, clicks, bounces, and unsubscribes. It also reads list membership, campaign metadata, and aggregate email performance.

Where does the API key come from?

Maropost Marketing Cloud API keys are created from Settings, then API Keys. Create one with the least privileges needed for lists, contacts, campaigns, and reports. You can also restrict the key with an IP whitelist.

Can StefanBrain change my Maropost data?

Only through one write tool, Upsert Maropost Contact, which creates or updates a contact and its list subscriptions. Write actions are gated by tool permissions, so you can require approval or block them entirely.

Will it read individual subscriber profiles silently?

No. Contact-level lookups, like fetching a contact by email or listing a list's subscribers, ask for your approval by default. Aggregate reads like campaign reports run without that extra prompt.

Does this cover Maropost Commerce Cloud?

No. This connector is for Maropost Marketing Cloud only. Commerce Cloud (Neto) orders, products, warehouses, and RMA management are out of scope.

Can I disconnect later?

Yes. One click in Connectors removes the connection and StefanBrain's access. For a clean break, also delete or rotate the API key in Maropost.
