How to connect
1Open Connectors and choose Canva
In StefanBrain, open Connectors, find Canva under Creative, and click Connect.
2Approve access on Canva's page
A Canva authorization page opens. Sign in and approve access for StefanBrain. Your password stays with Canva; StefanBrain never sees it.
3Pick the right account
Sign in with the Canva account that owns the templates you want StefanBrain to use. A different account will not see them.
4Ask your first question
Try asking StefanBrain to create a design from one of your templates, or to export a design you have been working on.
Good to know
- Canva uses OAuth, so there are no API keys to find or paste. Access lasts until you disconnect or revoke it.
- Template access follows the account you authorize. If StefanBrain cannot see a template, check which Canva account you connected.

The connector is built around your templates and designs. StefanBrain can create designs from the templates in your connected account and export the results, all driven from chat.
How does authentication work?
Canva uses OAuth. You approve access on Canva's own authorization page, and StefanBrain never sees or stores your Canva password. There are no API keys to manage.
Can StefanBrain change things in Canva without asking?
No. Creating or exporting a design is a write action, and write actions are gated by tool permissions you control. You can require approval or block writes entirely.
How is this different from StefanBrain's built-in image generation?
They complement each other. StefanBrain's native image and video generation creates assets from scratch, while the Canva connector works inside the template system your team already maintains. Use Canva when brand templates matter and native generation when you want net-new creative.
Which Canva account should I connect?
Connect the account that owns the brand templates you want StefanBrain to use. If your team keeps templates in a shared team account, authorize with a login that can access them.
Can I disconnect later?
Yes, one click in Connectors removes access. You can also revoke StefanBrain's access from the Canva side, and either action cuts the connection immediately.
